Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic Therapy, available only in Baltimore, Maryland, is covered under Physical/Occupational therapeutic services and is also available out of pocket if needed. Our therapist works one-on-one with you in fully accessible therapy pools. The water provides a safe environment for increasing mobility, balance, flexibility and strength in a naturally buoyant atmosphere.

Our aquatic rehabilitation therapists are fully trained and dedicated to providing the best of care to you while in the pool. Aquatic therapy is used in conjunction with land treatments in the Physical/Occupational Therapy programs.

Large changing rooms are available for caregivers to assist patients for changing if needed. The pools range in temperature from 80 degrees to 94 degrees to accommodate anyone. Lifeguards are always on standby. All pools have lifts or wheelchair ramps with aquatic wheelchairs to provide safe accessibility.
