Meet The Westminster Staff

Erica Bechtol

Doctor of Physical Therapy & Maryland Regional Director

Education: Doctorate (University of Maryland — Baltimore)
Certifications: MS, LSVT BIG.
Bio: Erica has been with TheraFit Rehab since 2017 and has 10-plus years of experience working with the neurological patient population. Prior to TheraFit, Erica was working in a neurological intensive care unit with patients with various acute neurological injuries. Erica has undergone increased training and education about multiple sclerosis and is a Certified MS Clinical Specialist. She also is LSVT BIG certified and enjoys working with patients with various movement disorders. In her free time she enjoys competing in triathlons, traveling to remote places in the world, and hiking with her dog, Roger.

Brooke Turner

Occupational Therapist

Education: Master’s (Towson University)
Certifications: Stroke, Parkinson’s, brain injury.
Bio: Brooke joined TheraFit Rehab in the summer of 2020. She earned her master’s degree in occupational therapy at Towson University in 2019 and then began working in sub-acute rehab both in hospital and continuing-care settings. Brooke joined TheraFit due to a passion for neuro and diversity. Here, her favorite areas of practice include stroke rehab, Parkinson’s and essential tremor management, brain injury, and splinting. In her free time, she helps to lead a faith-based young adult group, is involved with her church community, and enjoys playing the piano, singing, running, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

Erica Pirolli

Speech-Language Pathologist

Education: Master’s (Ithaca College)
Certifications: Speak OUT! for Parkinson’s disease, AmpCare Effective Swallowing Protocol, NMES for Swallowing, KSLP Methods for Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Bio: Erica began working at TheraFit Rehab in October 2020, after moving to Maryland from the Philadelphia area. Her clinical background includes work with all ages and populations in school, home health, early intervention, and outpatient settings. When she’s not at work, she enjoys singing, dancing, playing piano, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.

Jenn Foley, Pediatric Physical Therapist

Doctor of Physical Therapy (Pediatrics)

Education: Doctorate (Misericordia University)
Certifications: Pediatrics: torticollis and plagiocephaly, developmental delay.
Bio: Jenn graduated from Misericordia University in 2014 with her doctorate in physical therapy and began working at TheraFit Rehab shortly after in 2015. With a passion for pediatrics, Jenn moved to The Johns Hopkins Hospital’s Children’s Center for five years to gain pediatric experience and expertise working primarily in an outpatient setting. She returned to TheraFit in September 2021 to treat children with a variety of needs. Outside of work, Jenn loves cheering on the Ravens and Caps and playing with her nephews and niece.

Meg Blount, DPT

Meg Blount

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Education: Doctorate (University of Maryland — Eastern Shore)
Certifications: Vestibular and post-concussion therapies, chronic pain neuroscience.
Bio: Margaret Blount joined the TheraFit Rehab team in March 2022. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Scranton in 2017, also earning a minor in psychology. She then took a gap year, volunteering at St. Michael’s Association for Special Education on the Navajo Nation with Mercy Volunteer Corps. She graduated from University of Maryland — Eastern Shore with a doctorate in physical therapy in September 2021. Professionally, her interests include vestibular and post-concussion therapies, chronic pain neuroscience, and pediatrics. In her free time, she likes to host campfires, practice embroidery, and bake tasty things.

Amy Bankard

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Education: Doctorate (University of Maryland — Baltimore), Bachelor’s (Quinnipiac University).
Certifications:
Bio: Amy joined TheraFit Rehab in June 2022. She gained prior experience working with clients with complex neurologic and orthopedic conditions through her work at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Shock Trauma Center, and University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Institute (formerly known as Kernan). Amy enjoys working with clients of all ages with complex disabilities and allowing clients to reach their maximum potential. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with friends and families and watching her children participate in their various sports.

Rosemarie Reitman

Doctor of Occupational Therapy

Education: Doctorate (University of St. Augustine)
Certifications: Orthopedic, TBI, SCI.
Bio: Rose started her TheraFit Rehab journey in September 2022. She earned her doctorate in occupational therapy from the University of St. Augustine in April 2022. TheraFit is her first job after graduating. She has previously worked in acute care and with individuals in intellectual disabilities. Her doctoral research was done at the Veterans Administration on occupational therapy’s role in suicide prevention in the military and veteran population. Rose is passionate about the mental health of all patients. Outside of work she enjoys playing sports, hiking, and the beach.

Rachel Craig

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Education: Doctorate (University of Maryland — Baltimore)
Certifications: Medically complex, TBI, CVA, Parkinson’s disease, Amputee.
Bio: Rachel graduated from University of Maryland — Baltimore with a doctorate in physical therapy in 2019. She began her career at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., where she specialized in ICU level and cardiac physical therapy. In 2021, Rachel transitioned to home health in Anne Arundel County before joining the TheraFit Rehab team in Westminster in 2022. Rachel enjoys working with patients with all types of neurologic conditions and those with a medically complex histories. She loves to figure out different ways to challenge her patients in therapy. Rachel spends her free time playing with her son and spending time with her husband, as well as training for long-distance running races.
