WESTMINSTER, Maryland — Therafit Rehab, one of the Mid-Atlantic’s premier providers of physical, occupational, and speech therapy for people with neurological conditions or traumatic injuries, has hired speech-language pathologist Erica Pirolli at its Westminster location.
Pirolli earned her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in speech-language pathology at Ithaca College. She joins Therafit Rehab after serving as a speech therapist in schools, outpatient home health services, and early intervention in the Greater Philadelphia area.
“Erica has experience treating patients of all ages and with a variety of speech-related conditions, and makes her a great addition to the lineup of therapy services we provide,” Justin Gilligan, vice president of Therafit Rehab, said. “We’re excited to welcome Erica to our team.”
Pirolli previously provided speech therapy during tenures with Fox Rehabilitation Services, Nyman Associates, Inc., and the Haddon Township (N.J.) School District. She frequently treated patients that were diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, aphasia, apraxia, Down syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, and other conditions. Pirolli will begin seeing patients in Westminster on Monday, Oct. 19.
As a healthcare provider (and not a gym), Therafit Rehab always will remain open to treat patients in-clinic, in-home, or via telehealth. Clinics adhere to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) standards and guidelines for facility and equipment sanitation and health, and staff members utilize personal protection equipment while visiting patients in their residences.
Therapy and movement remain essential to boost immune systems and wellness in people with neurological conditions or traumatic injuries. Request a free 15-minute consultation with a therapist at therafitrehab.com/appointment or by calling your local Therafit Rehab.
