The World of Possibilities Disabilities Expo is coming to Westminster, Maryland, Saturday and Therafit Rehab will be there! The annual event, hosted by Caring Communities, Inc., will welcome members of the disabled community, loved ones, and caregivers to the TownMall of Westminster from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 3.

Therafit Rehab, one of the Mid-Atlantic’s premier providers of physical, occupational, and speech therapy to people with neurological conditions or traumatic injuries, will be an exhibitor at the expo. Director of public relations Karen Falkler will staff the booth, talking with attendees about their needs and the benefits of therapy. Falkler is a physical therapy assistant.

The Therafit Rehab booth will showcase the Quadriciser, a life-changing, full-body therapy machine that moves all of a person’s limbs and uses patterning to retrain the brain and muscles how to move again.

“We have years of dedicated service to the disabled community, providing activity-based therapy that helps to restore independence and boost mobility,” Falkler said. “We can’t wait to see everyone at the expo Saturday.”

The expo will include a number of educational workshops, meet-and-greets, and personal services for members of the disabled community. Caring Communities is running the event in accordance with federal and state health guidelines during the pandemic.
