To all of our patients and communities we serve,

TheraFit Rehab is operating as usual with normal business hours during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Be assured that we are taking all recommended precautions to keep you safe, while still providing top-notch, one-on-one care.

As a company, we are taking this pandemic seriously. All businesses are faced with difficult choices right now regarding the spread of COVID-19. We are all balancing the needs of the community as a whole, the population we serve as a business, and the well-being and livelihood of our employees.

Due to the nature of our business, we serve a population that are some of the most vulnerable and have shown to suffer more critical outcomes upon contracting this novel coronavirus. We also serve a population that needs the services we are providing. A pause in those therapies can result in a decrease in lifestyle and mobility for many of our patients.

We also care deeply for our employees. Shutting down facilities means potentially laying off hard-working staff who help to strengthen this vulnerable population. Our community cannot thrive during or after this outbreak without healthcare facilities and these dedicated professionals, who are diligently working to keep everyone active, independent, and mobile.

While our clinics will remain open, we want to assure you we are taking the following measures:

  • Regularly using a hospital-grade disinfectant on each piece of equipment.
  • Effective immediately, we will screen the wellness of each person entering our clinics, requesting that anyone exhibiting symptoms please leave the facility.
  • Encourage patients, caregivers, and staff to use the hand sanitizing stations we have available in all clinics or, better yet, to wash hands whenever possible.

We are requesting that all staff, patients and caregivers with a cough, fever, chills, or other viral symptoms to please stay home. To remove the burden for those exhibiting illness, we will also be waiving cancellation fees that are due to symptoms of illness for the next 2 weeks.

We also encourage our patients to take these same precautions in their everyday lives and stay home whenever not seeking necessary activities, such as doctor appointments, therapies, essential store runs, etc.

Things can change quickly, so we are continuing to monitor the latest reports and will update everyone as we know more. For those in the community who need to use this time to rehabilitate when you may otherwise not have the opportunity, we are offering same-day appointments.
