TheraFit Rehab Grand Opening of Neurological, Pediatric Physical Therapy Clinic
TheraFit Rehab is hosting an open house at its new location on October 6, 2017, revealing a new pediatric clinic and expanded neurological physical therapy facility.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Westminster, Maryland (September 27, 2017) – TheraFit Rehab is opening its doors to physicians and the public to reveal a new pediatric center, orthopedic treatment rooms, and expanded space for patients affected by neurological disorders.
“Until now, pediatric patients with neurological conditions have been required to travel to Baltimore for therapies. We’re excited to provide a local option by expanding our services for adults and by adding a dedicated treatment area for pediatrics,” said Justin Gilligan, vice president of TheraFit Rehab.
The event, held on October 6, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 6 pm, will have free screenings for neurological conditions, as well as back, shoulder, and wrist pain. Patients, physicians, caregivers, families and the community are all invited to tour the facility. There will also be a bouncy house and games for children.
“We hope the community will come out to see our facility and support our efforts to bring this unique, skilled care to Carroll County. We all know someone affected by a neurological condition and having treatment more accessible can really be life changing for these families and the caregivers who help they every day,” said President and founder Gina Della.
TheraFit Rehab offers physical, occupational, aquatic, and fitness therapy to patients of all ages and abilities with the use of adaptive equipment. The facility moved to a larger Westminster location in July 2017 to accommodate the growing neurologically disabled population and to fulfill the local need for a pediatric facility.
TheraFit Rehab also has therapy services offered at its Timonium, Maryland and Middletown, New Jersey locations.
